I just picked up a APC Super Harness cause I kept melting the stock headlight plugs with the bulbs I have.

There's only one problem...There's no damn instructions that come with the package!!!

Can anyone help?!?! Has any of you installed this on your Max? Any links out there that show how to install this? I'm asking because I saw a page some time ago showing the install step by step. It was on some site that sold HIDs.

Please help a brotha out.

 

I used to melt a plug every 2 weeks on my 95 gxe, I went to the salvage yard and cut the harness out of a ford pickup that had the same 9004 plug. The wires in the ford harness are much heavier. The harness never melted again.

 

Go to http://www.maximadriver.com and look in the how2 section and you'll find eas to follow instructions as well as a handy diagram. Hope this helps.

that are melting the harnesses... and can you tell a huge difference? I have nokya arcticwhites, I dont remember the wattage.. but I haven't melted mine after a week of constant use (use them during the day and everything)

Also, my arcticwhites were orginally reallly blue, now they are turning a TON more pure white which I want... how white will they get? Will they always have blue in them?

 

I have APC blues...not even the higher wattage either. I think the melting is caused by the amps of the bulbs.
