rear brake ?

rear brake ?

Which way do i rotate the rear brake piston when im pushing it back in ? I think its count-clock wise but i just wanted someone to conferm it. thanks.

Well i guess if i start to turn it one way and see that its not going in then i guess that would be the wrong direction right?? if anyone else can conferm this directino that would be great. Two conformations are better then one.

It's clockwise to lower the piston into its housing. Watch out for the rubber boot. When I did mine, the boot got all twisted up and I was afraid that it may get torn.

did you use the autozone disc brake tool or just some flat head screw driver?? ive heard that its easier to do with the autozone tool

I used needle nose pliers. Just take it easy so the pliers won't slip and puncture the rubber boot. The Autozone (Pepboys, too) tool would help a lot, but I was cheap.

I used the tool they sell at pep boys / autozone. I just attatched it to my drill and did it that way. Saves lots of time!!
