i was on my way home from school and i come up to a red light behind this firehawk. he's got his window down and is looking back at me from his side view mirror and he starts revving at me. then i realize it's one of my friends. so after the light changes and we pass the intersection, he gives me an open lane. i'm initially one car behind him to the right going about 20 when he takes off. we go up to 90 and by then i have half a car on him... so i was able to pull a car and a half total. we talked afterwards and he was surprised. but man, that firehawk is nice, black, ram-air hood, 315hp... i like.

You're full of it!!!

Could you at least come up with a believable lie next time. The Firehawk is quicker than an SS even. Close to Vette territory and there's no way you're that quick. Only possible way to be that quick with a max is to have NOS and a SC. In which case your motor should last, oh, about 40,000 miles at the most, when the Firehawk will still be running and beating the hell out of rice-burners everywhere.

he is not full of it, he runs low low low 13s. do you know that?? i don't think so, and he is only a carlength behind the new C5.(i was in the car with him when he raced the Vette) so, hold your horses next time and do some research before you made some comment like this one!

LoL. Lurkers run their mouth when they have no idea whats in half of these cars or have no knowledge of what is available for out cars. NOS and a S/C to run low 13's? BS. Call my bluff? Talk to Don in Texas, straight NOS and basic bolt on for low 13s to flat 13's. A S/C Max is very capable of running low 13's as well. Talk to Steve in Chicago about that one.. or even i30krab is has probably the fastest running Infiniti I30. I'm not saying Maximas are a sports car and super fast but there are some fast maximas lurking around that can "hang."

Like they say, sh*t happens.
