Custommaxima.com is making me anxious

Don't get me wrong, but isn't this project car is taking just a bit too long? I have been waiting to see their car for as long as I've known about them. I also don't see why the red clears are taking soo long too. I had great experience from them when I bought my sway bar, and now I really want to see the car, but they seem to be teasing us saying, "due to unexpected delays" and "we are in the process of getting them made". Oh well I'll just keep my fingers crossed. And good luck on the car.

About 18 months ago, I remember checking that website week after week to see if the project Max was completed yet. That was over a year ago. I don't mean to sound too harsh but if I would say pull that page completely and do not talk about an ETA if it cannot be met.

That and other promises left unfulfilled for so long have dissuaded me from surfing that site. I probably check that site once every other month at most now.

With that said, I still find it to be the best source for Max and I30 mods. I also have ordered from there more than once and rec'ed great service... even when things didn't go smoothy.

just my .02

Have you guys actually looked at their products lists? Nothing special, mostly just extras, nothing major. I think his car is gonna be less impressive then some of the people on the org. Ya it will have turbo, ya it might even have a custom body kit. Maybe the interior is jacked with screens to high hell, but all the best in finishing it.

I wonder if they'll be able to meet all the anticipation once it's all finished.

FUTURE EVENTS

2012 - Cure for cancer is discovered

2018 - Projector headlights are released

2025 - Cure for AIDS is discovered

2050 - Shortly before the release of the 18th Gen maxima, Greg's Project Maxima is finally completed. Greg's max is considered priceless, due to the fact that it's one of the few vehicles left with wheels, that and this is the first time it's seen the light of day in 51 years. Ironically, the 18th Gen still use the VQ motor, voted on of the 10 best engines, 57 years in a row.

Greg says, "Well over $90,000 invested in our show maxima. Don't believe me, just wait and see..." so we should be impressed.

$90,000 my @ss. I hate it when people quote MSRP for the shlt they buy. The same people who say they have a 1500W Kraco amp that actually puts out 15 x 2 RMS.

You never know, labor for custom installations is expensive. The labor cost to build my car is about to exceed the cost of parts.
