Sprints?
Sprints?
I've still been indecisive to convert my suspension to. I wanted H&R's, but they seem to sit too high. I wanted Intrax, but not many can give me a feedback on it. Now i'm looking at sprints. Anyone got sprints? if so, what combo and how does it ride?
i already checked drew's site, but would like more info. Thanx.

RedMax95 and I are both running with sprints on our cars, he has sprints with kyb agx's and i have tokico blue's... his ride is a little stiffer than mine but they are still pretty close when it comes down to it.
I love my sprints with KYB AGX. I don't get how people say sprints are to harsh my setup rides almost as good as my stock SE suspension. I've driven a maxima with H&Rs and stock struts, and didn't feel much better than mine. Also some people say that higher setting on the KYB AGX is the most smooth ride. I just don't think that way I can feel almost every imperfection on the road when riding on 3-6. 2-6 is very smooth and it handles great. I actually like 1-2 the best since I don't do any autocross or speed at turns. Yes 1-2 feels almost like Stock SE so you also get some body roll. That's just my .02
I love my sprints!

i used to think that the softer the setting on the AGXs, the softer the ride. this forum taught me otherwise. so far i've found the best setting with my B+G springs was 2 in front and whatever in back. the rears dont seem to affect ride quality too much.. but when I had 1 in the front, it was actually harsher than when I put it on 2. the only problem with setting it on 2 is its kind of floaty on the freeway, but it seems to be the softest in terms of absorbing bumps.

I've got the Intrax springs and the drop is good (rear could be a tad higher), the ride to me is about the same. Over normal roads it feels great, bit it can get harsh on many bumps. The rear also hits the bump stops. I'm so used to driving it lowered I don't notice much, but if you sit in the back its pretty bouncy. Drew's website explains the differences of springs quite well. But of course words only go so far, and opinions mean only so much. Just get springs that suits your taste with Illuminas (at least up front).
