is this a good deal?

Hey my dads secretary is selling her black 99 maxima GLE with 80,000 miles
its hooked up with a

exhaust cat in the back
K & N air intake
Front Stabilizer Bar
Drop Zone lowering springs
Tokiko Front and Back Shocks and Struts
Brembro Cross Drilled slotted roters
Carbon Fiber Brake Pads
NGK spark plugs Iradium
PIAA Headlights and all front lights
clear side markers
Nitto Tires with less then 10000 miles on them
New Battery
and Remote starter

im not sure of the exact models of some of these pieces, but shes asking about 11,000 for it...the blue book is 8, but i recognize the extent its been changed. I was looking at paying around 8 or 9, after i sold my stripped 95 maxima for a few thousand. I think 11 is a lil high, and from what it looks like, the car isnt kept in pristine condition and is often dirty.

modding a car usually drops the value of the car...

and thoe mods she has done isn't all that great. I'd tell you stay within 8-9k and no higher.

right, i thought it lowered the actual value, and by "not that great" do you mean its bad, or just not that valuable? Im not too worried bout getting top of the line mods, i just want to make sure its quality...i have a stripped 95 max too that i was guna sell to get this, but its no where near as nice inside or out...

try not to get a pre-moded car. buy a stock one and fix it up the way you want. mods never add up to the value of the car and besides, a modded car is usually a car that has been droven hard. in ur case, i dont see much of performance mods tho !

i also have a 95 gold maxima, not GLE...just totally stripped with nothing and 84000. i dont really like the color, or the wheel covers that are missing on one, and cracked on another...but it would seem like too much money to invest in an old car when i have this nicer one to buy as an option...what do u think?
