ECU: EVAP Control System

I've been getting codes for the EVAP Control System. So far, I simply reset the ECU and away the problem goes for a few hundred miles. My concern is that I have inspection due next month. I'm planning on cleaning some of the connections to the box behind the drivers back wheel (I forget what it's called) to see if that fixes the problem. With inspection next month and the ECU currently showing no codes, should I be able to pass inspection? Also, if anyone else has had similar issues and you fixed it, let me know what you did.

I tried doing a search, but it's not working...

Thanks!
