On the positive side:
1) 2 FREE sets for testing and dyno, before any is sold
2) EGR port will be added before any is sold.
3) Dyno graphs will posted then you can decide for yourself.
4) JFYI, Cattman claimed 15 WHP gain from their prototype headers.

For one...they CLAIMED 15whp, i didnt see anyone actually gain 15 real horse power from just a set of headers, their long headers which include the Y pipe MAYBE got 15whp, but where did you read that?

Dynoed with STOCK Y-pipe and 16 WHP calimed:

BTW, on my CLS we saw more than 25 WHP 25 lbft gains with aftermarket headers: Dyno: http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...threadid=80233

Cattman's dyno was done with a stock y-pipe versus their header/y-pipe combo. I have seen several dynos of 16-19hp from just a y-pipe. That being said, cattman dynoed 16 peak whp, but the average gains were pretty good over stock. I still think these will provide some type of gain though. The reason you got 25 whp on your CLS is because your car revs to 7000rpm, and up high is where the main power gains were. Boosted maximas will benefit from these, as well as those with a JWT ecu with 7000rpm redline. I can't wait to see some results though.

That's cause ACURA had ****ty headers in the first place. The install on the headers will be at least what the price of the headers is. So if like $1k is worth for 5hp, if even, then whoever thinks it's worth it go ahead and get it done. I know 2 sets are free but there are more than 2 members at the ORG. If the gains are at least 15hp over aftermarket y-pipes you'll have buyers, if not then SOL...

headers AND y pipe...most of those gains are from the Y pipe anyway.

Wow, not in a million years would I have believed no one would step up and test these things. It's kind of surprising that many ***** and moan about not having much aftermarket and here's your chance. I don't think they'll do much and many agree, but no one wants to prove us wrong

headers and downpipes... like headers and a Y strapped together, thats why they get the gains, performance headers are nice, but even u urself said that the Y pipe gives u power. their claimed gains are primarily from the downpiping...not the headers

no final price yet. It would be offered with a Y-pipe as it is the case with Cattman's.
