Missing hose

Missing hose
There was a hose (one end was not connected to anything) right on top of the "crankcase ventilation tube." Now the hose is gone after a tranny rebuilt. What does that hose do? I'm looking in my Haynes manual and the pictures don't show that hose, but I know I had it ![Stick Out Tongue](https://maxima.org/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
I still have the clip holder thing (that held the hose up in the air) on the "crankcase ventilation tube" but the hose is gone. Anyone know where it connects to so I can go look? Help

Thats the vent hose for your transmission. Find where it goes on your transmission and get a new one on there. The hose comes up high and the end points down so no water gets in your tranny as it breathes.
