Who said that beauty was on the inside?

I put some pics up in the I30/I35 board, but I just thought I'd post a couple here so people could see how my paint job turned out....

Your car looks sweet. Good choice going with the metallic blue.

Well, the color is the factory Infiniti Dark Metallic Blue. I thought about repainting the car a different color, but I really liked the factory color so I stuck with it. The shine is all about the wet sanding and buffing that was done after the car was painted; that is what really brought out the shine. I don't know what brand of paint was used, I could ask the guy next time I see him. The car was painted by a friend of a friend that does a bit of side work, so if anyone is in the DC area and needs some paint work I can get you his contact info. He has been real cool about making sure it was done right. Including the wet sanding I paid $1575 and that included having him paint the entire mirror housing and the trunk lip spoiler. The car was in the shop for 4 days total. I'm really happy with how well it turned out, esp considering it didn't cost me a fortune. I was planning on selling my car in a few months, but now it's going to be hard to part with it!
