where to get that little map light bulb?

Does anyone know where to get the little map light bulb? The one that is on the inside roof of the car just behind the windshield (I think it may be called a personal light too)? The bulb has no 'number' to it other than 12V-10W, for 12 volts and 10 watts. Even the owner's manual lists no standard replacement 'number' for this thing. Is this a dealer only item, or does anyone know where else I might find it? 10 watts is pretty bright for such a tiny bulb, so maybe it is an odd non-standard thing...

Thanks, I tried that, but the one I bought that matches the size is way too dim, it says it is meant for the instrument panel.. I could not find any bulb that had the exact shape and wattage...

Stupid question -

How do you get that bulb outta there? i couldn't even get the lens off.

Started to pry at it with a flathead, but got scared of busting it.

OK, if we're talking about the little light in the interior ceiling exactly between the passenger & driver's seat...you pop the cover off with a flathead screwdriver and get someone with tiny fingers to twist & pull the lil' bulb out.

I found a replacement bulb (a blue one actually) from advanceautoparts.com; check at one of their stores or any automotive store...I think the number for it is 1891, 1893, or 1895...can't remember exactly which one, but they all look very similar.

Good luck...

I found a bulb that looks like it should work on the web, made by Raybrig (number is 135). Just sort of stumbled on it... It says it is 8 watts, and the size matches, so I ordered a couple... Thanks for the suggestions....
