Cool Blue or Silverstar Headlights?

Im thinking of upgrading my headlights, but don't really want anything where I'll have to change the harness or anything. I also want to keep it somewhat inexpensive. I can't stand the stock headlamps anymore. What do you guys think?

I started off with regular bulbs. Then I went with Cool Blue. Then, I went with Silverstars. Now, I have 8600K HIDs.

With every step, you seem to be getting something whiter and brighter (in comparison with what you had before). I say in comparison because I went from yellowest to yellower to yellow to *drool*.

almost same as me
me going from regular to Cool Blue, then some white bulbs from pep boys, now i own 8000k HIDs. if not HID, i recommend non-white bulbs. you really don't want white ones on rainy day. if you want white bulbs, at least have yellow fog lights

The Maxima's headlight housings are a mess to begin with so choosing halogens can be tough. HID's are the way to go if you want better lighting but with most lowend kits you lose your high beams. I've had Cool Blues and Silverstars and I liked the Silverstars better. Cool Blues were a bit brighter than stock and Silverstars are whiter. Whiter light gives you the best visibility and no other color will give you close to that except for yellow. Any other color is mainly for show.

Just keep in mind what I said about the housings because in my 97 Accord, the Silverstars(9006) produce more light to the road than they did in my Maxima(9004).
