How do you like the catback? Fittament and looks wise? Also I heard it sounds great. I had the greddy sp and it was hella loud. Please let me hear your opinions...

I love mine. I've had it since last fall and it is awesome. Before the y-pipe it was ver, very quiet, barely louder than stock at any rpm range. Then I got the y-pipe and it got louder, good kind of louder. The rumble is very mean sounding. I thought it sounded good but I began to set off AFTERMARKET alarms on cars. Tonight was actually the first time I heard my car while someone else drove and I was standing on the sidewalk. Let me tell you I LOOVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEE IT so much more now. The low speed, low rpm exhaust note is so sweet, very deep and very powerfull. Also something weird happens when I hit about 40 or so going WOT. You see the exhaust sound dies when the rpms climb and you can hear the intake more, also awesome, but after the y-pipe the exhaust comes back into play. First time I heard it I got scared and slowed down I thought someything was wrong. This loud "whoosh" sound came on and my car just took off. Man I love it. Fitment is great but looks like you got the '97 conversion done so it might be a bit short and you'll have to put on like an inch of extra pipe so that it's even with the bumper...

yeah i love mine too...there should be a few pix on my home page, at first i didnt have y pipe and it was really quiet, barely noticable but when i got the y pipe and high flow cat it started to sound pretty nice, not to loud not to soft and when the cat was gutted it was even louder, but now that i've got the warpspeed cat on there it def. sounds good, i get complements from mechanics that work on my car and friends that say it sounds diferent then any other car they've heard...but i would def. recomend having a y pipe to go with it
It was too loud for me though. It sounded good, but for everday driving or even just the "tone" all_the_time just got on my nerves somewhat. Im back to a B-pipe and a OEM muffler replaced, no resonator <--that I like. mean sounding yet no tone or drone. apexi has no drone, just a diffent tone.
Its just different TONE of sound other than stock.
I have a y pipe from budget /stockcat/ that b-pipe and oem muffler and it sounds like a Modded Maxima, Not stock , not overboard on exhaust_ Just modded. $200.00 total is what mine costs.
on that 1 to 10 scale
greedy - 10
apex-7
my setup- 3
stock- 1
thats just my opinion

If you really want quiet, get a resonated bpipe and a 5th muffler. That's what I got now. A resonated bpipe with a 2k3 SE muffler. It's very quiet. Yet, no sign of power loss.

Yup, only way.
Btw, it's not completely silent. When you step on the gas, you can still hear a bit of an exhaust note. Not sure if that's due to the WS bpipe or the 2k3 SE muffler.

Because if the only thing that will affect me is the fact that my bumper sticks out an inch more, I will still get the WS and do the 97-99 rear bumper swap.
Any input?
