Breaks : Can you adjust pressure, front to back?? 50/50, 60/40, etc...?

All my breaks are in (seemingly) great condition. (wearing evenly, and moving freely)

However the fronts always lock up first when I push the peddle right down slowly.

Is there a way to transfere more pressure to the rear of the car?

I know the fronts do most of the breaking, etc... but I'd like more pressure on the backs, so she locks all fours simultainiously.

thanks,
dave h.

also,
if i'm driving for a while, then punch the peddel, i can sink it right to the floor, and the wheels don't lock up. (though it does slow VERY fast), one pump first and they will lock up. Is this normal?? I bleed the breaks and see no air...

you would need a brake bias controller for that adjustment bro. and no that is not normal. From my experience if you check ALL the brake lines and bleed correctly and still have this problem then you are in need of a new master cylinder.

The master cylinder has these proportional valves attached to it. You can't really adjust them for the brake bias. It does sound like you have some sort of internal seal leakage in the master cylinder. The peddel should not sink into the floor.
