Squeaky matress spring sound coming from front shocks, what needs to be replaced?

Over the last few months, my front springs have began to squeak louder and louder over time. Now they squeak just from me getting in the car. I don't have enough money to replace my struts and springs yet with the aftermarket stuff and don't want to get OEM stuff so what can I do for now to keep them from making so much noise? thanks

Mine do the exact same thing and it's not because the nut isn't tightened because I have made sure it is torqued to specs. I have noticed if you get out and open your hood you will see that when you push down you will notice the strut piston moving up and down in the mount. My mounts are less than a few months old so I know that they aren't the problem, I am going to find a washer and put it underneath the top nut to see if I can pull the strut up to the mount and make it tighter. It may sound really ghetto but I don't have the money, time or patience to replace all of my stuff again. I will be stoked if it solves the problem because my squeaking is really bad and it does it when I get out of the car also. I hope this helps, but if it too ghetto for you, then you might have to replace the strut and the mounts.

It may be as simple as the bushing needs oil...i havent done this on my maxima but my old explorer had the same thing, and gradually shut the noise up

thanks for the ideas, i'll try the grease trick and if that won't work, i'll try the washer. And thats not ghetto at all, I've riding around with cable ties holding my idler pulley down on my Acc belt for the past two weeks while I wait for the shop to get a new belt tensioner in stock for me.
