Bought my car with HID's aand when I turn on my brights they produce less vision the without them. IT becomes a blu foggy view. Anyone know why this is?

almost all aftermarket HID kits won't have hi-beams.

Usually aftermarket HID kits that have HI-beams cost double...so more than likely you don't have them because you don't need them, HIDs in our car on low are enough. Usually if you have a HID kit in your car and you turn on your HI beams, nothing should happen... funny why you get a blurr.

They are probably HID-like bulbs...not true HIDs

if they look like a different color for the first few seconds of being on, then you have HIDs.
take out the bulb and if you see a bulb with filaments, then you don't have HIDs. 4th gens don't have stock HID's only 2k2 and 2k3

Is there any extra cables around, are there ballasts and also HID bulbs are'nt color coated...so if their color coated, not a true HID.
