MEVI in and functional
HOLY CRAP!!!
Ian - you freakin' ROCK dude!!
You know how you get some mods and you can't really tell if the only gains are on the Butt Dyno? With the MEVI there is absolutely no doubt.
I have my V8-specific Summit switch set to 3400rpm (which translates to 5400rpm on the max) and I watched the mevi click over forwards and backwards 10 times in a row before I took it out on the road. As soon as I got to 5500rpm I expected the power to tail off like it normally does..
The power peak lasts from 4500 to 6500 (RPM limit - JWT will fix that for me... )
Seriously - this thing has a power curve like the Energizer Bunny!! Keeps going and going and going...
It also had such a wide power band now that small shifting mistakes are forgiven. Shifted 200 rpm too late? Who cares? The power would have lasted even longer, and there's power 500rpm below where the needle is after the shift.

It's kinda odd, but neal has to use a 3600 setting, I use a 3200 setting and you use a 3400 setting. All switching over at an indicated 5400-5500 rpms.
Do you think an led connected to the unused grey wire would work for a VI activatioin light?

The gray and yellow wires are both switched ground output - BUT the gray wire is normally ground and goes open at 5400, and the yellow wire is normally open and goes to ground at 5400.
If you connect an LED to the grey wire (with 1K resistor, of course) then it will be on all the time, and will go off when the VI activates. If you want an LED to turn on whent he VI activates then you'll need to tap the negative leg of the LED into the yellow wire also
