how many of your Nissan key remotes dont work anymore or have gone bad? Mine stopped working 3 years afterwards. Replacing the battery didnt help either.

I might consider buying one off ebay but there's no guarantees those will work either. grrr...

Did you try reprogramming the remote after you replaced the battery?

Get in the car and close all the doors. Insert and completely remove the key from the ignition at least 7 times in 10 seconds (at which point your warning lights will flash). Insert the key into ignition and turn to ACC position. Press any key on the remote and the warning lights will flash indicating you have reprogrammed your car. Remove the key, exit the car.

Your car is now reprogrammed.

my key stopped working before and i followed those instructions and started working again but that was like six months ago..... but now it stooppped working again whn i put my key in ignition 7+times in like 10 secs or even whn i count an even seven my hazards dont flash why is that ???

Mine works sometimes after I hold the button hard. The trunk option no longer works for me either. But I plan on getting a new one from the dealer.

This has happend to me twice before, it's wierd, but the remote just works back again in a couple of weeks.

Unplug then replug the connector going into the keyless entry box in your trunk.
