Do Not Buy The Ebay Short Shifter !!

I just want to let evryone know , dont buy the ebay short shifter , i heard about the breaking of other peoples but i thought after 5k it wouldn't break, i was WRONG, it broke and i was stuck, luckaly i wasn't far from my house, i had my boy push in the clutch and played with the linkage and managed to get my car in to second gear and i drove home like 2 miles like dat.

Just to make a long story short the 25$ isn't worth the trouble.

Damn that's Jacked up, what if you were on the highway or something. People like to cut a lot of corners and save money. Cheap is ok when it comes to somethings, you just have to be carfeul what you skimp on.

I would go with stillen. It is expensive but it is worth it. I've had mine for about 3K and still feels like i got it yesterday. Trust me just go with some names that you can trust. You don't want a broken SS again do you?

The shifter is rsp or something like dat , it doesnt matter what company its the material, any aluminum shifter will heat up from the exhaust and weakin by time, other cars and people i know have had this problem before

Everything breaks. I have one off ebay for 20 bucks and couldn't be happier. Can't see myself spending 120+ for a damn little metal rod. I don't think you can say those shifters are garbage based on one review.

Metal rod? Your shifter is constantly in use while you are driving. I would prefer it be a quality piece of hardened steel than a metal rod.

lol.....I'll be laughing even harder if yours breaks again.....If mine breaks 5 times....I'll be upset. Anyway, this is silly. If I had the money to spend, I would get a 100 dollar shifter as well. I see it as kind of like getting a Stillen strut bar, when one of those no-name brand ones work just as well......I'm sure someone's will fail, but not the majority.

Im not the first person this happend to and not the only person i know this happend to, i spent 20 bucks cause a shifter doesn't make a big diffrance and i dont fell like spending 120 on one, i can live without , but i cant wait till yours breaks , how many miles have you had it for?

If you really want to make your argument valid, go buy one of each and tell me how much force you must exert to break each one. Its not my fault u bought a crappy one for 20 bucks and ibought a good one for 20 bucks......nuff said.
