Any Ideas ON Polishing the entire engine..?

hey what up. I m look in for a DYI ideas.

WHAT metal bristle things do i need and for what and what polishing things to use.

I have a dremel but its kinda worn out
I also have a craftsman like 8 or 10 inch flat disk thingy sander/grinder.

Of course i want to use the 8inch sander grinder but can i just use and wire top* to bring the metal to a clean or what exactly am i trying to do when im polishing?

alot of ppl use the dremel or they do it by hand, you don't want any lumps. also try mother's alu polish.

i did a small part and i got to say it's not easy.
