intake question

Maybe this is a stupid question, but what the hell...

I see people/companies selling Injen CAI for '97-99 Maximas... will these fit a '95-'96 as well, or are they made differently?

only difference is how the air temp sensor is mounted. nothing too hard to do to make it work.

well, I'm no mechanic, so I wasn't planning on doing the installation myself...

I guess my question is that if I was to buy intake specified for '97-99, and bring it to a shop, would they be able to install it in my '96?

yes it will work and no problems at all, its just that the 95-96 intake sensor looks a lil different than the 97-99 sensor. the sensor plugs into the intake pipe. you can either plug up the hole on the intake and just zip tie the sensor near the air filter or find a way to make the sensor stay in the pipe. Ive done it before on someones car

put it on yourself, paying for an install of an intake is a waste of money...
