stock airbox resignator sensor

just ripped out my stock airbox the other day and i followed the plans on
https://maxima.org/shoptalk/sub_modi...ai/index.shtml
i tied back the boost sensor and reconnected the MAF sensor but i still have one other plastic sensor that came from the bottom of the scoop, i just unplugged it from its harness and drove around without it, but then i noticed my check engine light came on, i reset it but it keeps comming back on so im just wondering what this sensor does and if i really need it,if so where can i put it without putting my stock airbox assembly back in? if anyone would like a pic of this sensor, ill get one up , just let me know. -erik-

It's the intake air temp sensor. Plug it back in, clear the code from your ECU and position that sensor close to your intake air source.
