CV Joint Repair

Anyone know how to replace my CV joints in the cheapest possible way. I know that on some cars it is cheaper to buy the entire axle opposed to paying someone to replace just the joints. Regardless i am going to do it myself, but any info would help.

Thank you

i just did this on a 200sx and my max. its $15 for the boot, or $86 (not including core charge) for the whole axle. This is at Napa, and doing the work myself. BUT the 36mm 1/2 drive socket is $30(Napa), and if you dont have all the tools needed it can become very expensive.
