Light on door

I was wondering if any of you knew how to fix this problem i've got with the light on the door on the passenger side on my 97 gxe. IT DONT TURN ON. the driver's side works fine. This problem happened before too but the waranty took care of that but now im outta waranty and dont know what to do. Any advice?

hmm.. have you check the bulb itself?? If bulb is ok, than it must be your fuse.. check your fuse box under drivers side.. Get a fuse testor and check it..
I believe it's just bad bulb since other side is working ok.. If this problem keep happening over and over, it mean you have over watt fuse somewhere. just go to local dealer, they'll do it for free.. since it's not big deal..

Yo, pop off the entire light housing and make sure that the connector is connected to the light housing. My passenger door did the same thing. Those connectors are known to disconnect themselves within the door(so the nissan technician told me).

It's not the fuse, because the same fuse serves both step lamps.

light

My buddy has the same problem in his 98 Max.
The light just don't turn on on the driver side. The bulb is ok, the fuse is ok, I guess it must be a bad connection.
It seems like Maximas are plagued with this.
