Limited Slip?

I need to replace my drivers side CV joint. And I was wondering
if my car has limited slip? B/C they say theres's a difference between
non and limited slip cv joints? My car is a 97 Auto Maxima SE? how
could I check to see if it is or not?? thanks,

Unless your car is from Canada you don't have limited slip. I was not offerd on the USDM 4th gen.

All 4th Gen Canadian SE's have Limited Slip. The way to confirm is by looking at the identification plate on the firewall, passenger side. Where it says transaxle. RE4F04A is the open diff, RE4F04V is the LSD for autos. The manual trans are listed as RS5F50A and RS5F50V respectively.
