Aftermarket Tranny Parts: Recommendations

I am finally going to do the 5spd conversion and need to start collecting the aftermarket tranny parts. I will be purchasing a lightened flywheel, stage 1 clutch, and short shifter.

Short Shifter
I'm going with the B&M because I've heard everyone on the forums give great reviews about it, as well as Drew's site. Any suggestions?

Clutch
I'm pretty sure the ACT Stage 1 is the way to go. I've heard some people say they break down, but was caused by improper installation. Any suggestions?

Flywheel
I haven't heard too much about performance and durability of any of the aftermarket ones. The two that are in my head are the Unorthodox Racing and Fidanza, but again have not heard anything about them. Any suggestions?

If you guys could answer these questions I would really appreciate it. I want to make sure my tranny is performing to the best of its ability. Thanks guys.

Aww man, as long as you're going that far on the other stuff, get the big money Quaife LSD to hook the power to the ground

If you're not boosting or on juice, I'd stick with the stock clutch. It'll hold all the NA power you need and will be a little nicer on the new tranny than an ACT.

Hey men This helps you not but I was just wondering if you can keep me updated on the level of difficulty as you progress. For I too have a 5spd tranny that I will be converting too in the near future.

When you say new tranny, are you referring to me purchasing a brand new transmission, or just swapping a used one in? I will probably only bump my car up to 215 or so at the wheels, so wouldn't I benefit from an ACT Stage 1?

I meant "new" as in "new to you". From everything I've read and heard, the OEM clutch holds pretty well and should support anything you throw at it, assuming you're N/A. Because it doesn't grab quite as abruptly as the ACT or some other aftermarket clutch, it will be nicer to the trans.
