anyone else ever heard this?

I don't remember where I saw it, but somewhere I saw a door conversion kit for the max to make the doors open like lamborghinis and ferraris do (up instead of out)...I wouldn't ever do it, don't have the money, but that would be tight...or at least unique.

to do it right u need new hinges and some latch modification ( alot of bracing and stuff to make the door fully supported with vertical motion)...ebay instructions wont do it

don't get it's a waste of money. On a two door it would look awesome but on a four door? Come on...

Ahh...I didn't think about that...but it'd still be unique. But like I said I would never do it.

also think about having scissor doors on a maxima... its going to probably present an issue, or clearance height in some places. it might make u more subjective to theft and stuff. suicides seem more usable, and plenty cool for a 4 door

suicide doors look soooooo good...what kind of cash are you looking to shell out for installing those?

well thats the thing, a small shop could do it pretty easy, switch the hinge and switch the latch... they could make a kit for it, but the install is simple enough for a body pro, would need painting after and welding

i actually saw how to do this on a show on spike tv the other saturday...i wish i taped it..seemed interesting. but definately time consuming..the max would be out of service for a while...but it would definately look badass

was it on Nopi Tuner Vision, or the other import one? also, thats a very general kind of thing, in general its not that hard of a process...i think. a shop could do it easy
