B Pipe Worth It?

As long as you install it after the A pipe, but before the C pipe.
Its all up to you bro......$$$$ is always a question. I dont know how much you are looking at for a B pipe, but i would say to just have all of your exhust done at once. That will be alot easier, and alot easier. I dont know if you have ever done any exhaust work before, but i do know this from experience...... Unless it is a direct bolt on, it always turns out to be a cut, measure, remount, and go buy more new $#!7 deal. That is why i am just saving and waiting to do my whole exhaust at once.
As far as noise goes......what kind of muff you go going under your car....factory or aftermarket?

do you have any idea of what you're talking about? A pipe, c pipe? I think you're trying to be funny but at least put a smiley there so people don't think you're retarded. Go to an exhaust shop and tell them to make you a b-pipe and get a muffler all for like $200. And like the illiterate kid before me said "That will be alot easier, and alot easier"...
I always like to under-estimate the HP gains.....Makes it kinda like a sleeper car, having that ??unknown?? extra HP
around 6 for new Muff, and 2-3 for B pipe.
besure to get a nice and quite flowmaster muff tho....gotta love them.

flowmaster quiet...hahaha. Ok man if your looking for a muffler go to www.magnaflow.com and click sounds listen to the gti v-6 up top and see if you like that amount of noise. If so...order a stainless steal universal 5x8 oval with a 18" canistor. Make sure the b-pipe is resonated.

We started working on it about a year ago. At the time, it was all stock, and he wanted to make it sleeper. So we put in a new exaust with a Flowmaster. He wanted quite, so we got quite. Took it back down to our Mechanic's shop and ran the dyno, got about 10 HP + off of the Flowmaster .v.s. the stock Camaro muffler. Also ran alot quiter. Had the White paint touched up, and the black beelines painted on instead of just stickers. Then we started the modding, and improving. That thing runs real quiet now untill you hit about 5 grand, then it lets out a roar.
Its all about how you look at things. Sure you can go quite, sure you can go very , ultra quite. But the price is HP. The flowmaster is a great middle of the road setup. Quite, but breaths. Those magna flows may be alot quiter, but you lose some HP.
Sure, with the max exhust set up you might now get 10, that is why i say around 6....i know that you can atleast get 8 out of it.
$0.02

After looking.......

Best deal for you...built in silencer.
Saw no magnaflow's or flowmasters for the Max's......

don't get a straight pipe, it makes your car louder. I hate people who come around the neighborhood late at night and their exhausts are all loud. And in plus, they are illegal cuz it pollutes. But it does give u power.

the site above you will give you detail of every aftermarket's b-pipe, price, description. you choose.
anywayZ back to your question. i say you should definetly pick up a y-pipe and intake first for HP. according to http://www.motorvate.ca/mvp.php, his b-pipe had an average gain of 4HP with his stillen popcharger and budget y-pipe. gettin a b-pipe alone itself won't give you much more HP. you'll be better off picking up a y-pipe or an intake first.
good luck
