Install stock spoiler

Well i my car came with no spoiler and i think the stock spoiler realy adds alot to the max, so i picked up for real cheap and had a guy paint it and my gen 1 brake lights... and they look PERFECT ;-)

The lights are as easy as 123 but just wondering for the spoiler i was going to make a template (out of paper, using the spoiler) then ceter the template on my hood a Drill away... the put some silicone on the cuts and then am i good to go?

anyone have suggestions?

just want to be 100%

the trick is a lot of measuring and eyeing it... this might be something i would have done professionally just to get in on straight. some aftermarket spoilers (good idea) come with guides you use to line up the wing, then tape them to the trunk and remove the wing...little holes in them to guide the holes your drilling.

use masking tape to mark your mounting points on the trunk lid. You will thank me later

also...dont drill straight onto the trunk, put down tape, and mark your point. you can scratch the paint up if you dont do this.
