i would say Y pipe, not that cheap, but makes a noticeable ammount of power

i think the CAI is illegal in nj which blows cause i have to get inspected sometime soon

thats what a cold air intake IS....takes cold air from inside the fender through a hole with piping

i think they are...i don't think anyone would sell a long piping that mazes through ur engine bay for just 30 bux. so yeah u gotta cut a hole.

yea i know that but when i looked at the pic i didnt see how it would reach into the fender well the piping did seem like it would go that way

its not a custom design for your engine compartment...its an ebay part, so its a fender hole

it seemed like it would just drop it down into that empty space in front of the tranny from the pic? can someone prove me wrong?

i wouldn't kno cuz i've never got one but i heard it's a big difference. But you can also feel a difference with a CAI, especially in the low end parts. With a Short ram, it gives u more power in the high end part. So it's up to you to choose which one you'd rather have, i guess.

i have a CAI installed in my car and it goes straight for a little bit where your stock one goes, curves down diagonally forward a tad and back down again into the fender well.

I noticed more power gained with the addition of altezzas and re-wiring my corner lights than with the addition of my y-pipe... Y-pipe does absolutely nothing, don't waste your money on it when you could buy far better products such as Gen 1, Gen 2, Gen 3, Gen 4, Gen 5, Gen 6 or even the new and improved Gen 7 Altezzas

It says about the pic actual product sample shown. So i think thats what you are getting. It just looks like it would come off the maf drop forward and down to that empty space

cause i think i saw a stage 1 for like 2 grand and a stage 2 for about twice that but thats with all the parts fitted right and everything

the custom maxima turbo kit? supposedly blows engines. if your serious about turbo or super charger.... go to the forced induction forum
