quite muffler

A universal muffler requires welding. Drew’s website listed a few but they are expensive and loud. Is there any muffler that is quite and able to install into the B-pipe without any welding. Thanks.

Nope, not a single one(OEMs). Only if you get a whole cat-back you won't ned welding. Also when you get a muffler make sure it's a BIG oval one, it will be the quietest...

thats not even made specifially for the maxima. there's no way it is quiet. sorry, but i read a thread in the FS forumn about sellin a dunk exhaust & i know of a friend that has 1.

for ur question. I have a OEM replacement muffler for 85 from advanced auto part. It still gives a deeper sound b/c u made ur B pipe diameter open up but it wont be loud and quiet with no tone on the exhaust.

I had a apex ws exhaust. that was too loud for my girls, btw loud pipes get u laughed at around my town. btw, b-pipe&mufler installed $200.00

It's an universal muffler.. universal muffler = any car? Well it's quiet on my car so I could care less what you say. Ask any of the MA members.

Warspeed was offering the 5th gen variable capacity muffler with the correct flange to bolt to the stock B pipe.

An APEX'i DUNK can't be quiet. Why? well the thing is too small too actually muffle the sound. The bigger, and thicker, the muffler the quieter it is. Why do you think the WS is so quiet? It's a bit bigger than the stock and it's only a tad louder because of the 4.5" tip.

JOEW try to find a 5th gen muffler, apparently they're dual something and change for low and high RPMs...
