I did the fog light rewire stuff a moment ago (take from here: http://www.bryanb.com/site/maxima/fog/fogrewire.html). I have a 99 Nissan Maxima SE-LIMITED 5-spd. I did everything the instructions specify. I have a question about the last part where you take out the corner lens. OK, now my fogs turn on when parking lights are on, BUT THEY DONT WHEN REGULAR BEAMS ARE ON! Maybe I wired something badly in that last part because I am 100% sure that stuff before that is done right. OK, my question is - The blue/red wire (one of the two wires connected to the corner lens) that the instructions refer to, do I:

1) splice into this wire with the new wire hence giving it like a "Y" connection ????

2) Cut the blue/red wire and splice into the blue/red wire part coming from the lens; hence "I" type of connection?

3) Cut the blue/red wire and splice into the blue/red wire part coming from somewhere inside the car; hence another "I" type of connection?

Follow me??? Please help!

If I remember correctly, it is #1, a "Y" type splice.
