Hey Guys,

I just installed some el string in my guage cluster and it is wired to the dimmer switch. It looks wonderful.
Now my problem is...

When I get between 2k-2.5k on my tach, only the EL string lights start surging...IE it sputters from bright to dim. After I get past 2.5k they are consistently bright again.

It gets real annoying traveling in 5th gear and having the EL string light surging.

Do I need a new battery or what could it be that makes it my lights twitch between 2 and 2.5k?
