For those that made their corner lights brighter...

I was just reading an older thread and heard of this mod from some of you.
For those that did the mod with the "nail clipper" and clipped off one of the nubs on the bulb and then used electrical tape to tape that spot up....why not just take a pair of pliers and press on the nub that you would clipp off. . . that will make the numb pop inside and you're done... no need to use electrical tape. . . I just thought that this might be useful for the future and for those who haven't done this mod yet. . . Even though electrical tape is fine and will not cause any harm I just don't like to have things done with tape and glue. . .
now you guys can slap me for being a wise guy

well the reason i think theat we are suppose to put tape on it is because so the bulb can get a grap on the harness so it doesn't move. if we did it ur way, we we prob have to do same thing so bulb stays snug so it doesn;t fall out. ur would most likly bend the metal part of the bulb so it would not be round anymore

LOL.....you guys remind me of Columbus saying that the world isn't flat, that is it round. Everyone is "SO" afraid that if you dont use tape, their wiring system will short out.

LOL...

just do a 180 turn.

I removed the nub w/ a pair of needle nose vise grips. I latched on to the nub, then wiggled the grips clock wise, then counter clock wise until the nub came off. There was glass directly behind the nub, so there's no way I could have pushed it in on the bulbs I had.
