Way to do a red clear coat??

Not much of a painter...

I am preparing to buy some altezza euro's, and well, just dont like the look to much.

I was thinking, covering up a circle sized area, where the circle lights are in the housing, and then giving the outer housing a nice red clear coating.....

is this do-able, and what do you all think??

Here is the Before Picture.....

Here is the After .

Is this do-able??? Would you do it on a Black 95' Max SE???

also, would this work(click here) with some clearcoat over that, or does someone know of a red clearcoat spray??

The local hobby store. And I don't think that looks that great. Maybe if u painted it black instead of red, since ur car's black, it'd look better. But Altezza's are bleh imho.
