please HELP.

please help me. i was changing my rims for the winter and the gorilla lug broke off at the base. i don't care about the rim, it was bent any way. where would i take it to get it off?

you can take the rotor off and you should be able to easily pop the bolt out and change it yourself

take the roter off and hammer it until it comes off then search for the instructions to press on the new one

you are not understanding. the lug is still in the rotor. i cant get the wheel off.

if you can get the other bolts off...and the first one broke, whats holding it on still?

but you said the gorilla nut broke off... is the stud on the back too wide to fit through the rim or what?

if the studs intact, how the heck did the nut break off? did you snap the nut in half?

oh, lol...that makes some more sense, um, deeply in there? enough to grab with some pliars (ghetto i know) if you cant read the nut...you might HAVE to break the stud then replace it

i think that i will have toget the wheel cut off. i wanted to get some new rims anyway.

try welding a rod that is bent into a "L" onto the rest of the nut and you can use that as a l twist it loose

The same thing happened to me with on of my lugs. Bring it to a flat tire place or a chain that does small stuff like that. They will remove the wheel from the car via the big nut in the middle (its 36mm so you can try this yourself if you have a big enough socket) and then they just slice off the stud from the back and hammer it out. Should take 20 minutes at most shops.

i forgot to mention that the lugs are recessed.

If they cut the head off of the back, yes, they can. I saw them do this when I snapped one of my lugs off, just like this guy.
