A/C charged but warm air?
I haven't used the A/C on my '95 SE for a few days but turned it on today again and got only warm air. My first thought was that it was low on R-134 but I checked the pressure and its in the "normal" range on my gauge - but its on the lower edge of range I guess. I can hear the compressor turning on and off with the A/C button so its not an electrical problem - I even checked the relay just to be sure. So I'm a bit confused if the pressure is good and the compressor is running - what's next to check? The "cold" side isn't hot but its not very "cool" either. I'm a little worried about overcharging the system if I add another can of freon - any suggestions? I'm hoping its not a problem with the compressor itself.
Thanks for the help.

Do not add another can of refrigerant! I overcharged my system and I ruined my condensor($185). I had the same problem you are having, and did the same thing you did, but then I added more, and had more problems. My car was smoking when I pulled over to pick up my kids at school, it was the refrigerant and oil coming out from the condensor and hitting hot under the hood parts. If I would of just paid the $90 dollars to get it checked out, I would of only had to replace my compressor. I paid $340 dollars for an OEM one from my local Nissan dealer. Now it is nice and cold. My advice is to take it to a professional mechanic experienced with a/c stuff.
