geforce ecu (technosquare ecu)

I just recently went out to torrance and had my ecu re-programmed...quick and easy except for getting the ecu out of the car which was a total Bi$#ch!!!!! in either case, I presume it's faster and all....but could it just be my imagination??? Anyway apparently, the ecu advances the timing quite a bit....so i should go check it out....what is the stock ignition timing that a 95 maxima se 5-spd should be @? and what should it be after an ecu upgrade? Swear my car is faster though as I raced a wrx from 20 to 80 the other day and was dead even!!! no joke!...the old body style wrx mind you not the one with the headlight and taillight re-design! but none the less, he has a turbo and I don't---- just frankencar intake and geforce ecu (power-wise)....227hp and 14.7 quarter i think was the wrx in 2000-2002 i believe, then they got faster. Guy was ****ed! i rolled down my window at the light afterwards and was just about to compliment his ride for being fast when he started baggin on my ****! sayin how slow i am and how i couldn't pull on him....LOL....whatever man i bought my car for $6K and he bought his for like 24K...that means if i put $18K (18+6K=24K) in my car....my **** would tear him a new one in 5th gear! LOL

looks like a good upgrade... but the childish racing mentality leaves much to be desired.

Glad you felt the gains with the upgrade.

my geforce has been hands down the best NA mod ive done so far.....i dont know how i lived without it for 2 years. i felt more gains with this than the y pipe but most of the gains come after 3k rpms

timing

has anyone with this chip checked their timing to see what they advanced it to? What should it be cause stock 95 maxima is 15 BTDC at idle i think...

WRXs really aren't that fast from a roll. Their only advantage is their launch ability. From a roll, most 4th/5th gen manual Maxima's with just an intake and y-pipe will outrun the WRX. If you were dead even, I don't know if I'd be bragging about it.

BTW, the regular WRX has always been 227hp regardless of bodystyle. There is the STi model, but an NA Maxima wouldn't hold a candle to one.
