installing ring gauges

does anyone have experience with installing gauge rings on a 97 max. I heard it's hard to do since there are 4 screws behind the cluster panel and the the glass is fragile, if anyone has ever done this, please let me know.

thank you

I dont know what kit you have, but my silver gauge rings came with a thick glue. YOu basically have to open up the cluster and attach the rings on the face of the dash.

Here is what i posted in the GroupDeal forum:

i installed mine and they look great. no problems with the larger rings.

Enjoy the photos.

It's really fairly easy. I use the directions from www.maximadriver.com for how to install idaglow gauges. Just use the how 2 for getting to the cluster. Stick on the rings and your done. took me about 40min with out ever doing something like that before.
