60,000mile Tune-up!!!
hate to be the one to say this
Do a search, and this topic has been throughly covered a number of times in the past. The conclusion of it was, you can do most of the things yourself and save yourself the 500-600. I think there was 1 thing that they recommended you have the dealer do since it was more of a 'home mechanic' type of thing, but I don't remeber what it was.
New fuel filter, spark plugs, things along those lines that you can do yourself.

It's all in your Owner's Manual

The Nissan owner’s manual has valuable model-specific details on the day-to-day use and care of your car, as well as recommended maintenance intervals. If you’ve lost or misplaced your manual, just call 1-800-247-5321 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. eastern time, Monday through Friday. There is no charge for 1999, 1998 or 1997 manuals, however, there is a $12.00 charge for owners manuals prior to the 1997 models.
your right
Everything that has been done to your car by the nissan dealer will (should) be in their database. So take it to your local nissan dealer and ask them to print up a history report on all the service which has been done to your car.
Although if there are no records of anything on your car, that doesn't mean the oil wasn't changed or tires werent rotated, or even the tune-ups weren't done. The previous owner could have done them, or they could have taken it to another a local shop to have the maintance done.

all databases the same?
the car was originally from san antonio and i bought it from the seller in houston. her husband has an office in san antonio and she said all work was done there(used the maxima to commute there and back). so would my local nissan dealership have the same information and records? or do i have to call the one in san antonio?
