nasty rank smell from climate control

i've got a stale feet smell coming when ever i turn on the heat or a/c. i've read about a retrofit cabin microfilter, but don't really wanna hack my duct system up.

anyone know a way to clean out the duct system in a 1995??

Go buy a can of evaporator/duct cleaner from the autoparts store and follow the directions. Over time condensation creates mold on your evaporator.

I did see a product online once that had a hose attahced to the can to let you get close to the evaporator. You could do a search for it. I'm not sure if you can get a hose down in there on a Max, but you could check if you're interested.

Go here and look under odor control. This is what the pro's use to clean your condensor, which is where the odor is coming from.
