Haha...Yea, I bought her a 1991 maxima Se and its about to die so i wanna toss that for cheap and I would think she would like this. She wants a nicer car and here it is. I hope the car turns out nice. If this isnt a nice maxima then I think I'm gonna give her my s4.

Thanks for the help

if the car is in good condition i would offer $4500 and see what happens. if its beat to death dont even bother with it. it would have to be in good shape all around to make it worthy.

let us know what it looks like and what condition its in after u check it out.

u can also check out www.autotrader.com to get a real world pricing in your area. KBB is pretty vague and not personalized to your local market if you ask me.

The engine will be fine, but ask them about the tranny history. Ask if they had it's fluid change and make sure it's not slipping. Most people need a tranny rebuilt around 100k miles.

yeah 4,700 seems fair.....but www.autotrader.com sucks.....try www.cars.com or www.bargainnews.com if u live in the ny/nj/ct (tri-state) area...they are very good sites and i found my max off of www.cars.com as well

P.S.- oh, did she like it... or have any thing to say about it?

Man, the car needed new calipers, I just got that replaced by Goodyear and it costed 1300.00 I also got a tune up, tranny fluid change, and oil change. Overall the car is good...I think the its a GLE. Now i am in search of clear/red tails, HID and a spolier. Thanks for the help

I tell you what tho..... I have never had wilder sex than in a maxima. That back seat is like having a 3 ring circus tent. You can do anything back there. plus, the roof has some padding. Saves on the G/F headaches

Only down side is if you get one with the spoiler on the trunk lid. Then you just have to use the hood.
