Sensor Question???

I just got a frankencar intake W/K&N filter a couple of weeks ago, and when I installed it there was a sensor left that had no place to be put. Does anyone know where to put this sensor at? If so could you please tell me where to put it and how to install it there? And also, would this sensor not being hooked up to anything be the reason that my check engine light is on?

I think your refering to the intake air temperture sensor, if thats the case thats the reason your cel is on. You have to reconnect it and reset the ecu to turn the light off

There is no where to reconnect the sensor. I think it used to connect to the air box but I dont have an air box anymore.
