So the exhaust never gets loud anymore? Or at high rpms its loud?

So say i bought the OBX dual resonator b-pipe and I thought it wasn't loud enough, do you think it would be possible to remove one of the reonsators off of the b-pipe?This would cause the cat-back to be alittle louder right. Im guessing the reason that they put dual resonators is becuase this particular cat-back is very loud.

You can't remove resonators from a b-pipe unless you cut a section off and replaced it with some tubing. It's pointless.

My exhuast is still loud, but not as loud as it was when I first installed it. It's not quiet.

I've also noticed that all the IROC-Z's around here (there are zillions around here in redneck city) like to tailgate me now. Don't know why.........

I still need to fix the placement of the muffler though.

The exhuast is awesome. Pics coming soon.

I'm not sure what "drone" means. As in fart can honda style? Buzzing?

There's absolutely NO raspiness. I was playing around with an NSX last night, and my exhuast sounded deeper and better than his.

His HID's>me though.

Thank you.

It's deep, that's for sure. Wish I could get a sound clip up here of this thing. It's awesome. Definitely beats ANY rice qualified car, and it's not farty at all. Nice smooth tone. WOT>me with this system. Intake takes over at about 3000rpms now instead of 4000. It's gotten slightly quieter.

The low end is alot better, no matter what people say about catback exhuasts. But combined with the intake, and y-pipe, it's awesome.

And this exhuast isn't too quiet either. It's soo nice.

Whenever you do exhaust work on your car, with a bigger diameter, you LOSE low end torque. You may feel like you gained some but you didn't.

Also resonators DO make you lose some power, may it be 1-2 hp but you do lose power with more resonators...

why would a resonator hurt power? its a glass pack on the outside of the pipe, doesnt effect the flow or bend...maybe heat

airflow doesnt go through the resonator it passes by it and the sound waves are resonated through, and the sound dissipates i dont believe it affects hp

That's what it feels like, mabye it's the combo of all the new parts working with each other. I can definitely feel the difference in the 3000-redline range.
