I agree with this. The 5th Gen VI system probably activates similar to that of Honda's wherein it uses an ECM signal to activate a solenoid which toggles between short or long intake runners (don't quote me, just a hypothesis). Biggest thing would be finding the VI activation solenoid wire off the ECU in which to tap the VTEC solenoid signal out and in wires of the VAFC to. Any 5th Gen'rs feelin adventurous out there?

Well I finally dynoed the car and I also went to an autocross event. I think having the valve not flutter in the MEVI by having its activation point and deactivation point different helps on the 1-2 shift.

I will be writing the write up tonight. I will also include pictures and I will post it on sunday.

You really had to bump this thread didnt you?

If you would've looked around here and the all motor forum you would've seen theres a few people with the 00 VI installed.
