Front Speaker Installation

Hello,
I just got a used pair of Alpine speakers for the front for my 97 Maxima GLE (without BOSE). They have the three holes configuration. However, the mounting bracket for the stock speakers have 4 holes and my Alpines won't fit. Which of the following solutions is most feasible?
1) Buy conversion brackets from 4 holes to 3 holes (if such a thing exist)
2) Drill new mounting holes into the Alpine speakers
3) Get a proper set of speakers that already have 4 holes.
Thanks in advance.

Idea #4 is,
Get a peace of cardboard or something simalar and mount the speaker on to it and then mount the carboard{or simalar material} onto the factory mount holes, Tada it works I've done it on other cars.
attatch it with one screw at the top, mark where the other two mounting holes should be on the mount, and drill the holes through the frame of the speaker, and run screws though them into the holes in the mounts. It's cheap, and it's quick. Otherwise cut out new mounting brackets with particle board(MDF), or plywood. cardboard isn't strong enough to hold the speaker.
