Destroyed VQ30! (Pics Inside)

Heres a link to some pics of a supercharged VQ30 that ingested a little water on the way to school. Not pretty at all.

Caused by quite a bit of water force feed with a S/C! The cast rods in our motors aren't strong enough to compress water in it's liquid form like that.

Yep. I want his VQ3.5 short block if Nissan doesn't take it back from him. I'm sure you know what my thoughts are from there.

Water can't be compressed therefore the motor says "ouch".

That sucks.

d_warner: do you know how much water or how deep was the puddle in which this SC sucked in the water. I guess it takes a good amount of water for it to do that. right?
