Exhaust Questions....
Ok. I have been SEARCHING on the org for a few days now and have not found the exact answer to my question, so i had to post a new thread. I need a new b-pipe for the max, but i am undecided on what to do. Heres the thing....I just got the stillen exhaust (from a 2k max) put onto my 96 max. It is quite for an aftermarket exhaust. So i don't know whether to go with a resonated or unresonated b-pipe. Can anyone give me some insight? I want my max to be deep and loud. Not overly loud but noticeably loud. My exhaust right now had only the stillen rear with a race pipe. I am goin to order the B and Y-pipes this week. What should I do here???

get it without. drive around for a week or two. they are only like 50 bucks to have one installed. the y will make it louder, but i'd try it out 1st..my buddy with a stillen y, no cat, and the muff and B stillen and its not that loud. my magnaflow with a resonator i smuch louder. just to give you a compairson. i'd go unresonated snd add it later if you gotta.

if i run without a resonator will it make the exhaust sound raspy? I want it to still sound smooth with a nice deep tone. The decibles on it now is way to low. It sounds great from like 2400 to 3000 rpms. I don't know. I think i might just get it resonated because i am getting the b and y done with no cat. I just want to do it right the first time, you know?

Unresonated B-pipe=ricer maxima
You need a resonator on a max, unless you want to complain about raspiness and fart can exhaust. Especially with a y-pipe. I'm running double resonated, and it's still loud.
