which coil pack do I want?

I have a 99 maxima GXE with a bad coil pack in cylinder #2, but when I went to look into getting a new pack I found that their are 4 options to choose from: left and right mitsubishi and left and right hanshin. Which one do I want?

More than likely if its a 99 you have hanshin...the ole $hitty ones...make sure you get that brand again though. Great price find by the way.

ok now what does it mean by left and right? I called several dealers and they all asked whether it was on the front bank or back bank, so I am assuming that is what they mean by left or right, but which one is front? I need one for the front.

Counting Left and right come from the the front of the engine being the location of the fan belt (drive train belts)

Then standing in front of the car make the back row the left side and the front row the right side. I'm gussing that cylinder 2 on the front would be right side cylinder 2 or dependent on how the count is done (i.e. criscross) then cylinder 2 (which you refer) might be cylinder 4...

again could be wrong
