My cup holder has been flying around for about 4 months now. The clips on it were bent/stretched/broken when removing it a while back, and now it doesn't sit where it's suppose to without being able to move around. The reason being, was because of the clips. The nissan dealership I go to says nissan doesn't sell just the clips, and that I have to pay $130(canadian) or so for a new one. That sounds like a real sweet deal to me (yeah ... right).

Anyone know where I can get some new clips? Or a decent deal on a black cup holder? Someone sell me thiers, you know you want just a big hole behind your shifter hehehe.

Pull out the cupholder assembly. Notice there is a lip on the console which supports the cupholder assembly. Put a thin bead of sealant on that lip, and re-install the cupholder assembly. Wipe away any excess sealant. Allow overnight for the sealant to cure.

You could use weatherstrip adhesive, RTV sealant, Shoe Goo, or Welder... any kind of adhesive which will bond to plastics and remain somewhat flexible after curing.

Dayum..

Good idea! Thanks a lot. I like to be able to pry it off sometimes to clean around the cupholder, so sealant is a bad idea. The weatherstripping/double sided tape is awesome though. Thanks a lot.
